PRP Hair Restoration and Scalp Treatments

Scalp injections and microneedling to support follicle health and hair density.

Platelet-rich plasma injected into the scalp delivers concentrated growth factors to the follicular environment, supporting follicles that are still active but producing progressively finer hair. That distinction governs who this helps: treatment supports follicles that are struggling, and does considerably less where they are already dormant, which is why starting earlier matters more than treating harder. A course of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is standard, with maintenance afterwards. Exosomes can be applied to the same end, and scalp microneedling is generally used alongside PRP or exosomes rather than on its own, to stimulate the scalp and improve absorption of what is applied to it. Hair cycles slowly, so meaningful assessment comes at months rather than weeks.

Common questions

How many PRP sessions do I need for hair?

Three spaced four to six weeks apart is the standard starting course, with maintenance after that. Hair cycles slowly, so judge the result at months rather than weeks.

Does PRP work for everyone?

No. It supports follicles that are still active but producing finer hair, and does much less where follicles are already dormant. This is why early treatment matters, and why an honest assessment at consultation is more useful than an optimistic one.

PRP or exosomes for hair?

Both target the follicular environment. PRP uses your own platelets; exosomes are a topical preparation applied to the scalp. They are sometimes combined, and the choice is made at consultation.
